Specialist IT distributor, Esquire Technologies, announced a new range of UPS solutions from Apollo Power to suit any business environment, from SOHO, SME to large corporate offices.
The product range includes a line of interactive UPS devices from 1000VA to 5000VA; a range of long run UPS devices from 1000VA to 5000VA, which provide for extended backup time; and true online UPS devices from 1Kva to 15Kva, which incorporate automatic voltage stabilisers and power inverters.
The first online UPS device to hit the shelves at Esquire is the new Apollo Online UPS 2100HC unit with a 1000VA/700W capacity, which is highly-efficient and offers a low noise, reliable solution in a compact size. It comes standard with a heavy duty power supply that is supported by a built-in complete protection circuit kit, designed specifically for heavy load environments, like networked offices or even small server rooms.
"An online UPS differs from the less expensive line interactive UPS system in that the online system provides the highest quality power protection. An online UPS provides load power at all times through a battery that is continuously charged by input power," said Mahomed Cassim, Sales and Marketing Director at Esquire.
"This means the battery is always online, which means no switching is called for during power failures."
The Online UPS 1000VA provides complete protection and isolation from almost all types of power problems and provides the digital-quality power that is not possible with off line systems. For this reason, it would ideally be deployed in mission-critical environments, where applications are required to maintain high productivity and systems availability.
