Responding to consumer demand for high definition TV viewing, Esquire announced the local availability of BenQ's full HD 47-inch and full HD 42-inch LCD TVs - named the SJ4731 and SJ4231 respectively.
With the introduction of the 1080p HD LCD TVs, Esquire has expanded its line of cost effective LCD solutions to customers.
"The two offerings are targeted at consumers who seek an enhanced viewing experience," says Mahomed Cassim, Sales and Marketing Director at Esquire Technologies. "Both feature auto contrast enhancement (ACE) technology to control backlight levels and enhance image contrast, offering a contrast ratio of 6000:1.
“The incorporation of ACE also lowers power consumption by automatically adjusting backlight usage."
“Furthermore, with the incorporation of Senseye technology, the SJ4731 and the SJ4231 displays provide viewers with true to life images, futuristic design and high quality viewing. The LCD TV's high resolution (1920x1080p), a response time of 6.5ms and ACE at 6000:1 add to the picture clarity and richness", adds Cassim.
Both units offer high level HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) connectivity and 3D de-interlacing, providing a stable viewing image. The application of comb filtering separates signals to reduce image noise, producing pure colours and lines. Both TVs also offer simple and modern styling with a glossy front bezel, electroplate buttons and unobtrusive speaker panels.
“Setting it aside from the SJ4231, the SJ4731 LCD TV has been created to provide maximum viewing pleasure for home users as it includes a full HD panel that supports Blu-ray player and Playstation 3,” says Cassim.
