Sharon Pech'e appointed as marcom manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa

Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa has appointed ICT distribution veteran, Sharon Pech'e, as its new marketing and communications manager.

Sharon Pech'e has been appointed as marcom manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa. Pech'e brings 20 years of experience in the IT industry to her new role, having held marketing and management roles at companies such as Pastel Software, First Technology, Platinum Micro, and ASBIS Africa. Most recently, Pech'e worked as an independent marketing consultant and helped roll out large marketing campaigns for South Africa's largest music festival - Oppikoppi (2016) - and for the Soweto DRUMBeat Concert 2016.

She was also part of the team that launched Ingram Micro into South Africa through its joint venture with Tarsus Technology Group (formerly MB Technologies); she subsequently helped to rebrand Ingram Micro to Platinum Micro after Ingram exited the joint venture.

Says Pech'e: "Following my years working in the ICT distribution and reseller channel, I'm excited to join one of the world's leading vendors in a marketing role. I look forward to working with the team to grow the business in the months ahead."

Pech'e has a BCom Marketing from Unisa and enjoys reading, attending live shows and connecting with friends, both old and new. She is also a passionate supporter of causes and organisations that focus on animal welfare and the needs of the elderly.
