The P910 puts DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld) into the hands of the consumer. Simply put, the new Samsung P910 mobile phone supports Mobile TV and thus enables users to view TV in superior quality on their mobile phone.
The P910 is first and foremost a dedicated mobile phone. The innovative technology allows for the mobile phone to become a multimedia entertainer, offering a variety of multimedia features, including digital TV reception* in an uncompromising streamlined and compact device. At only 133g this black and silver clam shell phone has a classic design with a solid feel, but is slim and light enough to fit comfortably into the users' hand.
Supporting seamless communication the phone has 3G capabilities providing the users with ample benefits including rapid internet access, video streaming, real-time video telephony and video messaging*. The phone is also WAP, USB and Bluetooth enabled. The P910's entertainment revolution includes a Rotating Megapixel camera, instant access to MP3 audio files and its duel stereo speakers and embedded digital power amp allows the user to share their music with those around them. A 20MB end-user memory and external microSD slot provide more space for downloads.
Designed specifically for Mobile TV, the swiveling LCD screen with a double adjusting hinge ensures easy desktop viewing and a digital power amp guarantees an enhanced sound experience. For optimal mobile TV viewing, users need only flip the swiveling 262,000 colour QVGA TFT display to landscape mode for a wide and clear viewing experience. The SMS ticker function, guarantees convenient TV viewing. This feature ensures that if a text message is received while you are watching TV, the message scrolls along the bottom of the screen, thus ensuring you have uninterrupted viewing.
