In a display of all things Sage-related, the business solution industry took over Champagne Sports Resort, in the Drakensberg, for a weekend of conferencing, networking, official launching of Sage X3 Standard Edition and awards - 9 to 11 February saw the luxury resort animated by the characters of Sage and Sage solution providers.
The formal awards dinner, on 11 February, was the biggest draw card; the Oscars of the industry, and, as in previous years, Synergy Group was recognised for its achievements.
For 2011, Synergy was awarded Best Performer for Sage CRM and earned the Technisoft award for the highest sales of Report Manager. Synergy also retained its status as one of the only six Sage Premier Partners in the country. Synergy has preserved this prestige since 2002.
Jonathan Smart, Sales Director of Synergy Group, comments: “The Sage Insights Conference has always been a memorable affair, with the 2012 event being no exception. The product and technology sessions were informative and extensive, to the point that information saturation occurred at some point after lunch on Saturday. With regard to the awards, Synergy did extremely well to maintain Premier Partner status in what was a very difficult year. The capturing of the Technisoft Top Sales award for Report Manager and the coveted Sage CRM Best Performer award bears testament to the strength and tenacity of the Synergy Team.”
