TenStep opens Malaysia office

Project management company TenStep is opening an office in Malaysia as part of its worldwide expansion plan, reports TechLinks.

Company president Tom Mochal describes Malaysia as a vibrant country that is becoming more sophisticated in its understanding of business processes.

"We are going to be in a position to help build the awareness of project management and ride the project management wave as it develops," he says.

IC Soft has released icTracker V7.4, the company's flagship project management software, says PRWeb.

The new release adds enhancements, which allows users to set recurring tasks based on a custom calendar (working day or factory-based).

A new link-adding function on the home page also allows users to add projects, tasks, documents or sites to the icTracker database, from its home page. System administrators can set up company holidays each year, and users can define a recurrent task to start on a specific working day each month.

For 17 years, CMP Technology's Dr Dobb's Jolt Product Excellence Awards have been presented annually to products that have "jolted" the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier and more efficient.

Rally was awarded the Jolt Product Excellence Award in the quality project management category in 2006.
