Lorge takes SAP Business One operation into Botswana

Johannesburg, 26 Feb 2007

Mid-market ERP solutions provider Lorge is establishing a SAP Business One operation in Botswana, to provide financial and business software solutions and services to the growing SMB markets in Gaborone, Francistown and other centres.

Eugene Olivier, GM of Lorge`s SAP Business One business unit, said the Botswana office will become operational from March 2007.

"We see considerable potential for SAP Business One ERP solutions in Botswana and have the full support of the vendor for this venture," said Olivier. "The business will be based at the existing Lorge branch office in Gaborone, which has operated in Botswana since 2000."

One of the top three SAP Business One channel partners in South Africa for 2005, Lorge provides a wide-range of mid-market businesses with financial and business software solutions, often fully integrated with other packages such as retail, point-of-sale, business intelligence and I-Bolt, a SAP add-on software module for integration, system automation and workflow.

"Globally the small and mid-sized business (SMB) marketplace is high growth and SAP Business One solutions are gaining ground in southern Africa," said Olivier. "It has built-in CRM functionality and a growth path that ultimately allows users to seamlessly integrate into SAP R3."
