D-Link Corporation, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumer and business, today announced its board of directors has elected John Lee as the company's new chairman and CEO.
"Our board performed an extensive search to find a new leader who could continue to create value for our shareholders, while at the same time continuing the company's strategic goals," said JC Liao, President of D-Link. "We are fortunate to have found a leader with John's exceptional experience and strategic acumen to join D-Link at this time."
"John has a proven track record of success at both D-Link and Alpha Networks," said AP Chen, Chief Financial Officer of D-Link. "I have full confidence in his ability to lead continued growth at D-Link, and believe that John's unique background provides an excellent fit to reinforce the alignment and synergy of our supply chain and sales efforts."

One of the original major founders of D-Link, Lee served as Chairman and CEO of Alpha Networks, a spin-off of D-Link's OEM/ODM business unit. Prior to Alpha Networks, he served as CTO, President and Vice Chairman of D-Link Corporation. Lee received his bachelor and master's degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University. He holds the inventor position for over 30 major important networking technology patents.
