MS gives Patni gold
Patni Computer Systems, a global IT services provider, has achieved gold certified partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program, reports Sify.
The partner status recognises Patni's competencies in the BI segment and will equip the company to innovate and implement business intelligence solutions to help its customers better capitalise on their organisational data.
"The Microsoft Partner Program acknowledges partners that go above and beyond to help our customers reach their full business potential with their proven expertise in Microsoft technologies," said Karl Leigh, director (BI Partners) of Microsoft.
Post office updates BI
UK-based post office has inked a deal with Logica to implement two BI systems from Kalido, states Computer World.
The new software, which will replace two legacy systems, is scheduled to go live early next year.
It will allow post office management to access information on product competitiveness and profitability. The move is part of a post office plan to modernise its systems and make them more flexible, as well as lowering costs.
