With its head office enjoying a strategic location in the Dubai Internet City, Net Advantage has garnered a strong presence across the Arab world, with fully-operational branches and delegate offices in Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait, Doha, Cairo, Casablanca, Beirut, Amman and others.

The company aims to build an online advertising database and to expand it across the different Middle Eastern nations by acting as an efficient interface between online media platforms and advertising agencies and their clients.

Internet marketing conference on track

The Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference 2009 will go ahead on 20 March and is set to be even better than the previous event. The one-day conference held in Iceland's capital city, Reykjavik, has big names from Google, Microsoft, IBM and Nordic eMarketing lined up, says eNewsWire

In 2008, the Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference was attended by more than 300 Internet experts, including world-class speakers and workshop managers. Attendees rated the event very highly in the online evaluation.

Google Search evangelist Adam Lasnik is going to talk about search engines in a special session. The search engines discussion will also include Mel Carson, Microsoft's adCentre community manager for Europe; Rand Fiskin, CEO of SEOmoz; and Eugene Lomize, head of advertising technologies at Yandex. The session will be moderated by Hj'almar Gislason, director of product development at Iceland Telecom.

VistaPrint moves into the blogosphere

VistaPrint has opened a marketing blog as a resource for the small business community, states CNN Money.

VistaPrint's small business blog aims to answer questions on topics such as the most effective methodology for split run testing or the best ways to go viral. The site's editorial board will also provide commentary and links to articles and reports that focus on the small business community.

"We are always looking for ways to increase the value that we provide to our customer base, and one of the things our customers need the most is knowledge," says chief marketing officer for VistaPrint North America, Trynka Shineman.
