SRA retains Coast Guard contract

SRA International has won a task order to continue providing support to the US Coast Guard (USCG), human resources information systems division, according to Computer Business Review.

Under the contract, the company is obliged to deliver project management, business process analysis and reengineering, and PeopleSoft expertise. This with the aim of upgrading USCG's HR management system and strengthening its operations with the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management HCM and Global Payroll for Retirees and Annuitants into a single HR and payroll system.

The contract is valued at $30 million over a five-year period provided all the options are exercised.

Dolphin Software has released Dolphin Contract Manager for SharePoint, contract management software that brings cost, time and risk reduction to the 60%+ organisations standardising on the Microsoft SharePoint platform, reports TMCnet.

According to a Dolphin press statement, the contract life cycle management market is growing at 23% per year.

Dolphin Software also signed its first customer, Canadian firm Northland Ontario, plus five partners across the US, UK and Ireland: Gimmal Group, Mindlance, ICS Solutions, Triad Group and Spanish Point Technologies.

Softrax, a provider of enterprise revenue management and billing solutions, announced the availability of Softrax Operations 9.0 and Softrax Contrax 4.0, states PR Web.

The releases provide new features and improved usability with the specific focus on advanced reporting and analysis capabilities for financial professionals.

According to the company, these releases build on well-established, industry-leading functionality for automating critical accounting processes, such as: contract management, pricing, billing, revenue allocations and deferrals, expense accounting, renewals, and other accounting activities.
