New country manager for D-Link South Africa

D-Link, the end-to-end computer networking solutions provider for consumers and businesses, is pleased to announce today the appointment of Wynand Moller as its new country manager for D-Link Africa.

Moller will oversee all the business operations in D-Link Africa, which will include marketing, sales and customer relations' activities. He will also help drive the business development in that region and strengthen service support for its channel partners as well as their customers.

Director of D-Link South Africa, Teddy Liang, said: “We are happy to have Wynand Moller on board with us, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and years of experience in the information technology industry, to contribute to the growth of D-Link's business and to boost our customer service in Africa.”

Moller joined D-Link in March 2008, as D-Link Africa's Regional Manager of the Western and Eastern Cape. During his time as Regional Manager, he has successfully built up strong customer relationships in the region with distributors, government, corporate and enterprise clients, system integrators and D-Link partners.

Prior to joining D-Link, Moller has already many years of experience in the information technology (IT) and networking industry. He has worked with several large IT distributors as well as a local supplier of various brands of networking products as product manager for many years, and is familiar and equipped with networking knowledge.

Moller will take over from Tobbie van Schalkwyk as Country Manager of D-Link Africa effective 2 August 2010.
