Through its international partnership with Fujitsu Siemens Computers, ANNEX Distribution introduces the Celsius V810 64-bit top-end workstation to the local market.
The V810 is built for performance and expandability. It features components that make it an optimum workstation choice for businesses requiring substantial processing power, particularly in fields such as design, simulation, finance and PC upscaling.
"Packed with performance-enhancing technology, the V810 houses up to 2 AMD Opteron, processors up to 2.2GHz, 4x S-ATA interfaces on board for maximum hard disk drive capacity and performance. It also features 16.0GB, DDR-SDRAM for memory-demanding applications and high performance networking with Gigabit Ethernet LAN on board as well as IEEE1394 (Firewire) on board for fast data exchange with high-speed peripherals. It is designed for performance under pressure and is aimed at the top end of the market within environments that produce high volumes at a rapid rate and mostly have stringent infrastructure and business requirements," explains Bill Gradwell, General Manager at ANNEX.
The Celsius V810 offers users remote administration capability through DeskView client management, and is compatible with a range of operating systems with optional Windows XP Professional and Linux.
"It also includes EasyChange which provides trouble-free access to hard disk drives. FlexyBay allows external 5.25-inch drives to be exchanged without the need for tools," adds Gradwell. "The combined features make this an ideal offer for computer-intensive and multi-processor-optimised workstation applications."
