Troye wins Citrix gold

Johannesburg, 04 Jan 2007

An intensive internal skills development programme coupled with mastering additional stringent requirements has led Troye Computer System, a company which provides cost effective and secure access to business critical applications using Citrix technology, to be awarded its status as a Gold Citrix Solutions Advisor.

"There are only a handful of Gold Citrix Solutions Advisors in South Africa, and we welcome Troye to its new position within the Citrix environment," says Nick Keene, country manager, Citrix Systems Southern Africa.

Citrix Systems has a rigorous standard for partners to both attain and maintain its Gold Solutions Advisor certification, but in the same light partners enjoy the financial benefits associated with the status.

"The principle requirement is a skills upgrade," continues Keene. "Customers that we refer onto our gold partners are seeking expert advisors to fulfil their business objectives using Citrix technology. Gold partners are able to offer the combination of high level ICT skills combined with support from Citrix to ensure that they are able to build positive relationships with their customers, which in turn is supported by our access technology."

Troye has been passionate about the cost effective, secure access to business critical applications offered by products such as the Citrix Access Suite, since its introduction to the technology approximately four years ago.

"There is definite value in becoming a gold partner," comments Helen Kr"uger, CEO, Troye Computer Systems. "The calibre of client we deal with insists on a gold partner status and we have seen a marked increase in business opportunities. We are reaping the reward of our investment into upgrading our skills in both new business wins and a stronger service offering to existing clients."

Citrix Access technology enables businesses to rapidly deploy and increase the security of applications regardless of location or form of network connectivity.
