Spectrum Multimedia has won the local distributorship for Buffalo, a manufacturer of networking, storage and multimedia solutions for the home and small business environment.

Buffalo's product portfolio includes its AirStation line of wireless networking products for SME/SoHo and home users. With AOSS (AirStation One-Touch Secure System) technology, users can build a secure wireless network at home or in the office, at the push of a button.

Spectrum Multimedia product director, Tony Scott, said in addition to Buffalo's NAS storage solutions, it provides a line of USB flash drives, portable and desktop hard drives and solutions.

"Buffalo also provides a range of multimedia players, and offers integrated WLAN, storage and multimedia solutions for the digital home environment."

Buffalo has strong international industry alliances with companies such as Intel, Broadcom, Nintendo and Microsoft, he says.

Spectrum Multimedia is a local company established in the late 1990s, which distributes a range of products, including Uniross and Hybrio rechargeable batteries, Emtec computer peripherals, Case Logic storage bags, TDK recording media, PNY graphics cards, Lexar flash memory and Intuix Webcams.
