HP reaffirms channel commitment

News about an HP/CDW co-marketing plan had reseller channel partners sounding the alarm about potential channel conflict, says eWeek Channel Insider.

A top Hewlett-Packard executive has reaffirmed the company's commitment to all its channel reseller partners a little over a week after a leaked memo revealed a deal between the vendor and direct market reseller CDW that raised questions about potential channel conflict.

HP VP of marketing and strategy for HP Solution Partners Organisation Tom LaRocca said while HP creates co-marketing plans with many partners, each plan is created with provisions against channel conflict.

Cisco says the transition for Linksys business dealers is seamless, requiring a quick online registration.
