OpenPages unveils governance platform

OpenPages has upgraded its software platform for governance, risk and compliance management, reports Intelligent Enterprise.

OpenPages Governance Platform 5.0 delivers a common repository for the software modules that run on top. In addition, all of the modules - two previously released and two new - have been rewritten to conform to the same code base. The platform is based on the latest Java 2 enterprise standards.

The repository provides interoperability among the modules through a shared service tier for functionality such as workflow, security, and reporting and auditing. "You get a unified view," said Brian Cleary, VP of marketing.
