Self-service benefits HR

Companies are Web-enabling their human resources functions to get rid of complexities and boost productivity, says Business Standard.

Zensar Technologies, a Pune-based IT services provider in India, has staff members across 18 countries, making a paper-based manual review process difficult and time-consuming.

This January, the company decided to set up a Web-based HR assessment portal, based on a solution from Microsoft. The portal now allows Zensar to offer self-service HR applications to its employees.

Raet, StepStone partner

Raet, a HR and payroll provider in Holland, and StepStone, a European provider of total talent management solutions, have joined forces in the Dutch e-recruitment market, reports Businesswire.

Raet will extend its portfolio with the new Raet e-recruitment module based on StepStone Solutions' technology, allowing it to further optimise the recruitment process.

The Raet e-recruitment module offers support for all stages of the recruitment process, while drastically reducing administrative tasks. Clients are able to streamline and optimise their entire recruitment process, from the moment a vacancy becomes available, to attracting candidates, selection and interviews, until point of hire.

Erasmic, Mumbai Angels fund Cnergyis

Cnergyis, a provider of the HR Software-as-a-Service (Saas) Plus Service Model, has received funding from Google-backed Erasmic, Mumbai Angels and a group of individual Investors, states India PRwire.

Cnergyis, founded in 2000, is a one-stop solution provider of HR, payroll and benefit administration services.

Currently Cnergyis caters to large organisations with staff spread across 400 locations in India and are planning a separate focus on the small to medium-sized business market by aligning with existing payroll service providers.
