Skelta appoints UAE reseller

Skelta Software, a leading provider of business process management (BPM) and advanced workflow solutions, recently appointed Dubai-based Al Reyami Technologies as a reseller for the UAE region, according to PR.com.

Al Reyami Technologies, a part of the 14-year-old Al Reyami group, provides total document consulting and enterprise software solutions as well as end-to-end networks and communications solutions.

Speaking on the association, Ramesh Srinivasan, VP of worldwide sales at Skelta Software, says: "Al Reyami Technologies' core focus on document management and collaboration software and its strong presence in the UAE market will ensure proper positioning of Skelta BPM.NET in the region. With this partnership, we hope to engage Al Reyami's impressive customer base for our BPM solutions."

IBM boosts BPM training

IBM's Academic Initiative, which provides training materials for university professors, is honing in on BPM as the new semester begins, states Networkworld.

The vendor has developed two courses around BPM, which refer to the discipline and related software modelling tools meant to help companies improve elements of their workflow.

One course teaches users how to work with Innov8, a game-like "BPM simulator" previously released by IBM, while a more advanced training course allows teachers to download IBM's commercial WebSphere Business Modeller tool for use in classrooms.

Research and Markets adds report

Research and Markets has added WinterGreen Research's report: "Business Process Management (BPM) Market Shares, Opportunities, Strategies, and Forecasts, 2008-2014" to its offering, says Market Watch.

BPM promises to drive enterprise markets going forward by implementing automated process more efficiently.

Automation of business process must be balanced with human exception management, which is managed by workflow.
