Alien Technology enters alliance

Alien Technology, a provider of RFID products and services, has revealed that Arizon RFID Technology will manufacture Alien inlays for the Chinese market, says Market Watch.

According to Arizon, customers will benefit from cost savings due to the proximity of the manufacturing facility, including lower air-freight costs and better services as a result of being in the same time zone.

"Alien's extensive experience in manufacturing mass volumes of inlays and their market leadership position has helped Arizon ramp up production and supply quality products to the Chinese market within a very short period of time," says Hsu Yung-Daw, GM of Arizon RFID Technology.

The new additions include a line of wireless Mojix eNodes for mobile, handheld and outdoor use cases, and a multiple port Mojix eNode for enabling economical tag interrogation spaces.

The EPC RFID transmitters are the building blocks of the Mojix Star system, which consists of sensitive receivers, each managing up to 512 wireless eNode transmitters, to enable RFID coverage of large distribution centres, yards, warehouses and retail facilities across multiple business processes.
