Tandberg has released Movi, a business-quality mobile video solution for PCs.
“Movi brings a new level of quality, scalability and interoperability to PC video, with high-definition communication from a PC to any other standards-based telepresence and video solution, making video truly accessible to anyone from anywhere,” says Bryan Thompson, Tandberg area manager for sub-Saharan Africa.
The Movi solution represents the new way of working and what it means to be 'at work', sporting superior audio capabilities and high-definition video, says Thompson.
Movi takes advantage of its intelligent network features, like firewall traversal, multipoint conferencing, recording and archiving, as well as the ability to connect with legacy ISDN services.

The solution enables business-quality video conferencing from any location with an Internet connection, and is designed to work with any USB or Web camera. It is completely interoperable with Tandberg and other standards-based video conferencing endpoints, including desktop, executive, conference rooms and telepresence systems.
