Virgin Media modifies prices

Customers of cable provider Virgin Media are finding out the price of their packages will rise on 1 May, reports Tech Watch.

The provider will also be introducing a new charge of £1.25 (R16.8) per month for customers who wish to receive a monthly paper bill, while anyone opting for the Virgin Media e-billing system will see a reduction of that fee.

The company has opted for a flat £2 (R26.9) per month increase across the board for customers on the M package, while customers subscribing to the L package will see the highest increase at £4 (R53.8) per month.

Firm partners with Sorriso

Active Data Services has formed a strategic partnership with Sorriso Technologies, a provider of enterprise-level online billing software and services to businesses worldwide, states dBusiness News.

Through the partnership, Active Data Services will serve as the North American middle-market provider of software-as-a-service capabilities to Sorriso's electronic bill presentment and payment services through the company's Persona Solution Suite.

Active Data Services will integrate Sorriso's software into its print and mail centre operations, allowing the firm to offer state-of-the-art online billing, payment and analytics services, as part of a new service called Active Delivery.
