HHS is the US government's main department for protecting the health of all US citizens and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves.
European healthcare to go digital
The efficiency and flexibility of digitised healthcare is beginning to take effect throughout Europe as the industry gets poised to continue its transformation to technology, according to Hospital IT Europe.
Although information systems are yet to be fully utilised by the healthcare industry, new analysis from Frost & Sullivan's mobile and wireless healthcare technologies report have discovered that the European market in 2008 was $1.479 million, with the estimate for 2015 at $6.791 million.
The rapid increase owes a lot to the wide range of wireless applications and solutions being introduced to the market coupled with the evolution of infrastructure technology, the combination proving too big an opportunity for healthcare administrators to miss.
