Maximizer Software, a global customer relationship management (CRM) solutions provider, has released the latest version of its CRM software, Maximizer CRM 10.5.

The solution is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and can be downloaded onto the BlackBerry 8000 series - Pearl, Curve and Bold smartphones, as well as the new Apple iPhones.

Vivek Thomas, Maximizer Software MD for Europe, Middle East and Africa, says Maximizer has been working in the South African market for 10 years and has accumulated over 4 000 customers: “South Africa has been a good market for us and the country represents 15% to 18% of our business. In the CRM game, the whole concept is to collaborate information and technology. Successful CRM needs software technology, business process management and the people to manage the system.”

Maximizer's latest solution integrates a Microsoft Windows interface with a Web and mobile interface, says Thomas. “Businesses are now more mobile and demand flexibility,” says Thomas. “For this reason we've integrated our solution into mobile devices. We also offer a native application, which is a proprietary database system with Web access. Users can create UDFs, which will synchronise with your system and multiple devices.”

The solution gives mobile staff access to accounts, sales deals and schedules to increase productivity and access to information at all times through the CRM server, he adds.

“It supports Edge, WiFi, and GSM. Users can work on their mobile anytime and anywhere in the world. It synchronises all the user's contacts and information onto the server. This reduces a workforce downtime.”

The latest solution comes in four editions: entrepreneur, group, professional and enterprise. The solution synchronises with multiple devices and integrates business tools such as Microsoft Office. It aims to give managers insight into the performance of a business through dashboards and reports.

Maximizer Software has been in the international CRM game for 20 years and has over one million customer licences from around the world, the company says.
