Software AG User Conference to deliver vertical and business solutions

Software AG, the world's largest independent provider of business infrastructure software, is holding its 2009 local User Conference on 3 June at the Blue Valley Estate, just outside Johannesburg.

This year, Software AG Chief Product Officer and Executive Board member Dr Peter Kurpick will be the keynote speaker. Dr Kurpick will discuss the Software AG Roadmap and, in a separate session, an analysts' view of the company and its products.

With Software AG recently named in both Gartner and Forrester Magic Quadrants, this session promised to bring a global view at the technical capabilities and business value of Software AG's technology and practice leadership offerings they provide to the market and how and why the analysts have positioned it as such.

Trevor Own of Vodacom will present a user case study; and there are strategic and business presentations on the vertical sectors - banking and finance, supply chain, retail and manufacturing, government - as well as SOA and BPM issues.

Free of charge, the conference registration is from 08h00 to 08h45, with a single track of key issues to 13h00, followed by parallel tracks in the afternoon.
