Glotec calls it a day

Global Technology Holdings (Glotec) has finalised agreements to dispose of all its remaining operating businesses.

The Glotec share was suspended this morning at the request of the group`s directors.

"The board of directors of Glotec are currently assessing the company`s future and an announcement in this regard will be made in due course," it says in a notice issued this morning.

The group surprised the market this week when it announced without elaborating that CEO Graeme Victor had stepped into a non-executive role.

The troubled group has been struggling for survival since last year when it reported huge losses for the 2002 financial year.

It has already shed most of its operations, including the recently sold Glotec Business Intelligence which was bought by Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings.

A rights offer aimed at refinancing the group was completed earlier this year.
