D-Link has announced the availability of its DMP-100, an MP3 player with an integrated voice recorder.
The player comes in 32MB and 16MB flavours, and users can add an optional 32MB memory card through the SmartMedia expansion slot.
The device also features a tuneable equaliser, as well as an integrated voice recorder. It is capable of downloads and uploads, allowing voice recordings to be stored in MP3 or WAV file format on PCs.
On 32MB memory, the device will record over two hours of sound. Interface is handled through a parallel port connection.
The 16MB version costs R1 000, while the 32MB version costs R1 800.
