MS supports Xterprise solution

Xterprise, a global supplier of enterprise solutions, has launched a financial solution backed by Microsoft to enable companies to rapidly deploy RFID solutions, says CNN Money.com.

Xterprise has unveiled its new financing solution from Microsoft Financing to assist its customers to drive operational efficiency.

Dean Frew, founder and CEO of Xterprise, said: "With our partner Microsoft, we are uniquely positioned to offer attractive financing packages for our Clarity enterprise applications, which enable a business to realise the benefits of our technology without the typical budgetary or cash flow impact of such an investment."

Finland drives intelligent stores

Finnish apparel company NP Collection has opened one of the most advanced, intelligent clothes stores in Hollola, Finland, reports More RFID.

In this store, customers can try on clothes in changing rooms supported by RFID technology, with an RFID checkout system.

When trying on clothes, customers can use wall-mounted touch screens to browse additional product information, view suggestions for matching clothes and accessories and have alternative products or sizes brought straight to the changing room.

Zebra unveils RFID printers

Zebra Technologies, a manufacturer of specialty printing and automatic identification solutions, has released the P4T and RP4T mobile RFID-enabled printers, reports Market Watch.

The four-inch mobile printers are designed for indoor and outdoor applications in government, manufacturing, transportation and mobile field service.

The printers have Bluetooth 2.0 and wireless connectivity options, and WPA2 security for enhanced data protection and user authentication.
