Lexmarks increases family

Lexmark has released the Lexmark C782n XL colour laser printer and Lexmark X782e XL colour laser multifunction product, reports Market Watch.

Designed for high-volume colour printing, the Lexmark C782n XL and X782e XL are new additions to the C782n and X782e colour laser family, which enables users to print professional colour documents in-house.

"With Lexmark's new XL high-yield cartridges for the C782n XL and X782e XL, there is no premium for colour toner. Customers can print volumes of colour documents affordably and avoid outsourcing to an expensive print shop," said Marty Canning, Lexmark VP.

Panasonic rolls out NCP tech

Panasonic's Business Communications Solutions Group has rolled out products under its new Network Communications Platform (NCP), catering to SMEs, states Dealerscope.

The platform includes functionality based on partnerships with companies like the custom electronics home control systems supplier Control4.

The NCP system addresses various small business needs, including call centre and customer service applications, retail use, and hospitality applications. For example, Panasonic partner DuVoice, in combination with Control4 technology, can make hotels greener by sending a command to a hotel room to turn off lighting and heating when a guest has checked out.
