Gestetner SA unveiled its Pro C900, a workflow solution for colour production printing, yesterday.
The solution, which delivers professional imaging and a complete portfolio of on-line finishing options, is targeted at large scale production areas, says Michael Barnett, marketing product manager at Gestetner SA.
“The Pro C900 combines professional quality and heavy-duty performance at a cost-effective price, making it the best option for the central reprographics departments, commercial printing, print-for-pay bureaus, copy shops, print rooms, public sector organisations or even colleges or universities,” he says
According to Barnett, central to the operation of the Pro C900 is a server-based EFI Fiery controller. “The Fiery platform allows the Pro C900 to maximise return on investment by dynamically managing speed, quality, advanced colour management and variable data printing.”
Barnett states that, "By providing printing businesses with faster turnaround times, higher throughput production, flexible finishing options and low operating costs, the Pro C900 is the ideal system for any business with advanced printing needs.”
