FLUX, a leading South African software and service solutions provider and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has designed and implemented a new interactive and informative Internet site for Airports Company South Africa (ACSA).
Werner le Roux, MD of FLUX, said: "Our brief required us to transform the existing Web content into a fresh, more user-friendly design which welcomes both staff and external visitors enabling them to access information simply and efficiently."
The home page displays four colourful visuals - one for each targeted segment - business, passengers, commercial and stakeholders which take visitors to relevant information.
Separate pages for each of the airports contain interactive maps detailing parking and layout so that visitors can orientate themselves before arrival. There is an extensive directory facility under the passenger segment providing information on retail facilities at each venue as well as a quick search button. The site contains a weather feed, tips for travellers, flight information and content on all facets of ACSA's operations.
Solomon Makgale, ACSA Communications Manager, said: "One of the features which we believe adds real value to the Internet site is the feedback facility which allows users to communicate with us through a real-time secure channel. We will monitor and respond to all communications received through this facility."
