Tibco a 'hot' company

Tibco has been named one of the "Hottest Companies of 2007" by Start-IT Magazine, says Linux Magazine.

The criteria to be considered a 'hot' technology provider include things like product innovation, growth and success in aiding companies to optimise their operations.

Last year was a good year for Tibco due to the release of a new master data management solution, Tibco Collaborative Information Manager.

Ultimus releases BPM suite

Ultimus has released its Adaptive BPM Suite Version 8 to adapt to changes in a company, says intelligent enterprise.

This suite aims to adapt to changing human communications that were not an issue when the product was designed.

New features include the collaborative client and adaptive discovery, the latter of which allows business analysts to change business rules in real-time.

Apple aids broadcast workflow

Apple has released its final cut server that works with Final Cut Studio 2 for post production and broadcast professionals, says ThomasNet.

Final cut server allows for content browsing, review and approval within a studio over the Internet, as well as other tools to aid in broadcasting workflow.

The price has been listed as $1 999 for one server and unlimited client licences and should be available overseas this winter.
