BT, Signiant join forces

Signiant has signed an agreement with BT's Media and Broadcast division that will change how content is managed, processed and distributed globally, reports BusinessWire.

By combining BT's networked workflow, media processing and content management technology with Signiant's Digital Media Distribution Management Suite (DMDMS), customers will be able to speed up the processing, management and distribution of their media files throughout their supply chain.

BT will initially use the software to speed up the process of capturing video files from rights owners into its content processing platform for IPTV.

MediaLink offers online platform

Medialink Worldwide has launched an online content management, distribution and tracking platform called Mediaseed, says CNN Money.

The platform offers a digital suite of collaboration, archiving, distribution, publishing, and evaluation features for corporate marketing and communications professionals.

By setting up a personalised portal on Mediaseed's Web site, clients can partner with Medialink for video and media production and distribution services, as well as store, share and track assets.

EMC unveils Documentum 6

EMC has announced the release of the EMC Documentum 6 enterprise content management (ECM) platform, reports Al Bawaba

The platform enables rapid and flexible development, configuration, and deployment of enterprise content applications.

The timing of the new platform release is ideal, as the Middle East's content management sector is expanding due to increased corporate e-mail and online content, as well as changing regulatory requirements.
