NetCB.com, providers of business collaboration and productivity solutions based at The Innovation Hub in Pretoria, recently managed and implemented two major projects involving migration to the Novell SuSE Linux platform.

The most recent migration the company conducted was for the Bank of Tanzania. Its existing server platforms were migrated to the Novell Open Enterprise server edition on SuSE Linux. The bank also simultaneously implemented Novell GroupWise 7.0.

In another move, the South African Bank Note Company migrated from its existing Lotus Notes environment to Novell GroupWise 7.0. During this migration the server platform was also updated and migrated to Novell Open Enterprise server edition on SuSE Linux.

According to NetCB.com CEO, Cobus Burgers, the company has continued to see growing demand for migration to the Novell SuSE Linux platform. Novell's SUSE Linux platform is a secure and reliable foundation for enterprise computing from the desktop to the data centre. It delivers powerful solutions built on open standards for all of the most important technology arenas within today's enterprise, from data centre, workgroup and desktop, to security and identity, and resource management.

NetCB.com provides solutions that include collaboration of information between people and the resulting manipulation of business processes within a business environment. The company's core business can be categorised into business process management, identity management, resource management, document management, and management reporting.
