Remote VOIP wins
VOIP can be quite tricky when it comes to remote workers, with some choosing to use Skype and others relying on cellphones or home phones for communication, reports Computer Weekly.
But WorldWinner needed to get VOIP and collaborative abilities to its remote employee base, from teleworkers to travelling employees, and needed an economical yet flexible solution with little management overhead.
WorldWinner VP of operations, Mike Frank, said: "The company's IP solution had to integrate with its commonly-used desktop business applications to improve productivity and efficiency," so WorldWinner selected BlueNote SessionSuite.

Raketu Communications has launched a new service which allows users to set up a VOIP number to dial another person, even if it is a landline, reports
Previously, Jajah had launched a similar service, but users could only set up a call with other users of the Web-based VOIP service, and not connect with traditional phone lines.
"Raketu's mission is to make Internet telephony both fun and accessible to everyone," said Greg Parker, chief executive of Raketu.
