Avaya buys Agile

Agile Software has been sold to its US-based channel partner Avaya, reports Telecommunications Review.

The business has provided contact centre technology for Avaya globally and its multi-channel software is used by 3 000 contact centres in 84 countries.

Avaya have bought the company outright in order to enhance its branded Contact Centre Express solution.

Indosoft solution for Nigeria

Indosoft and 12Solutions have installed Indosoft Q-Suite call centre software suite at MWeb, in Nigeria, TMCnet reports.

12 Solutions provides call centre consulting, training and professional services to inbound and outbound contact centres in Nigeria.

They hope the outbound call centre technology with predictive dialling will enhance their existing Asterisk platform and provide all the tools and functionality required to setup and manage inbound and outbound call centre campaigns.

Call centre plans for council

Inverclyde Council is overhauling its customer care systems, which includes the development of a new contact centre, according to Direct Response.

The local authority is implementing its Future Operating Model, an initiative that will see the council make consumer-based changes to its customer care services, after what it describes as a "root and branch shift".

Improved operational efficiency and effectiveness have been pinpointed as the targets of the programme.
