His two main responsibilities are to manage partner reporting in the United Kingdom, United States (US) and South Africa, and serve as the Product Owner of Tableau for 2U, Cape Town. His other US responsibilities include: Tableau Champion (Project Leader) and Tableau Data Doctor for the New York office, and Tableau Lead Consultant in the Tableau Centre of Excellence Committee for the Maryland office. Furthermore, he is actively involved in the Tableau Global Community, and represents Cape Town, South Africa as a Tableau User Group Leader.

Ameer has recently completed a diploma in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School. Furthermore, he also holds a Master of Commerce degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, and a pre-MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
