Yudhvir Seetharam

Head of Analytics, Insights and Research, FNB Business

Dr Yudhvir Seetharam is currently employed as the Head of Analytics, Insights and Research at FNB Business. His department oversees quantitative and qualitative analytics that spans across research, analytics and reporting for sales and marketing, acquisitions and collaborations, operations, fraud and transactional optimisation across South Africa and FNB’s subsidiaries.

Over a short career in both academia and business, he has received various accolades internally and externally, namely, the Mail & Guardian 2017 Top 200 Young South Africans list in the Business and Entrepreneurship category, the Top 100 (#59) Most Influential Young South Africans list and a recipient of the Gauteng Premier’s Youth Service Excellence Award in Economic Development. Yudhvir is a part-time senior lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand, lecturing on topics in investments and financial risk management, conducting and publishing academic research in the field of behavioural finance and supervising postgraduate research students. He also holds directorship positions in various NPOs as well as being a Governor of the South African Institute of Financial Markets.
