Sizwe Gwala is currently employed as a Data Governance Manager at Alexander Forbes, mandated to formulate, execute and lead the enterprise data governance strategy. His experience spans across data and information risk management, information security,data governance and management, data strategy formulation and execution and data and IT change management, with experience in both the private (financial services) and public sectors (locally: South Africa, regionally: SADC and globally: Latin America). Sizwe is a strategic planner and a result-driven executor with strong leadership capabilities.

Sizwe holds 4 degrees with his highest being a Masters in Management (focus: cybersecurity research) from WITS University. In addition to his formal education, he is CoBIT 2019 Certified and holds various professional certificates within the IT field.
