Jordaan Burger is Managing Director for Sage Africa & Middle East (AME). He was appointed to the role in 2025 and is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening Sage’s presence across the region, and ensuring customers and partners continue to receive exceptional value.

Jordaan joined Sage in 2019 and most recently served as Vice President of Finance for Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific, where he led business performance and commercial strategy. With a strong commercial focus and deep understanding of the technology landscape, he has a proven track record of optimising financial performance to fuel innovation and growth, while maintaining sound financial principles.

Before joining Sage, Jordaan spent five years as Financial Director at MWR InfoSecurity (now F-Secure) in South Africa, overseeing finance operations in New York, Singapore, and Poland. Earlier in his career, he gained international investment banking experience with RBC Capital Markets in London, before returning to South Africa as an audit partner at TAG Incorporated (now PKF Pretoria).

A Chartered Accountant (SA), Jordaan holds a B.Com in Accounting Science from the University of Pretoria, a B.Com Accounting Hons CTA from Unisa, and an M.Com in South African and International Taxation from North-West University.
