Asif Hoosen

Head: Marketing and Product, Audi South Africa

Asif Hoosen is currently head of marketing and product at Audi South Africa overseeing marketing, public relations and communications, events and promotions, product positioning, pricing and specification.

He holds a degree in Marketing, advertising and business administration from UNP. His career started at The Witness, Pietermaritzburg’s iconic local newspaper in the sales department. Followed by a bold move to Johannesburg to join Media24 Magazines as an advertising exec.

He later joined the Volkswagen Group as a regional sales manager on the VW brand, with a portfolio of 15 dealers. He also had a stint with a Spanish car brand before going back to VW as head of sales.
