Natalie Aphane is an Information Security Governance and Emerging Technology Risk professional with experience across cybersecurity, privacy, AI governance and technology risk. With qualifications in both Law and Cybersecurity, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to how organisations navigate evolving cyber threats, emerging technologies and governance expectations.

Her experience spans security governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, threat analysis, security awareness, privacy and AI governance. Natalie is particularly passionate about the intersection of cybersecurity, emerging technology and digital trust, and how organisations can strengthen security and resilience while keeping pace with a rapidly changing technology landscape.

In 2025, she was a finalist for the Wired4Women Rising Star in Security Award and was named one of ITWeb’s 100 Influential Women in Tech.
