IT strategy professional & researcher

Zethu Lubisi is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience across higher education and ICT leadership, having worked across teaching, lecturing, professional development and ICT management. She is also a strategist, speaker and researcher working at the intersection of technology, leadership and human development. Her work focuses on strategy, governance and people-centered digital transformation, with a strong emphasis on how organisations can align technology, people and purpose to create meaningful and sustainable impact. She is currently completing her PhD in Information Systems, with research on “Perspectives of Women in ICT on the Hybrid Working Model: A Case Study of South Africa’s Telecommunications Sector”, exploring identity, digital safety and the future of work. Her research interests include digital equity, women in ICT, hybrid work, employee wellbeing and emerging technologies. Zethu is also the host of the InTransit podcast, where she explores conversations on leadership, growth, identity and the experiences that shape personal and professional journeys.
