Tobias Schroedel - "Germany's first IT comedian"! This is how the established computer magazine CHIP once described the proven IT specialist, computer expert and traveling lecturer on hacking. Tobias has an inimitable gift for revealing technical security loopholes and the abysses of complex IT systems in a way is easy to understand, even for laypeople. Tobias’ unmistakable trademark, however, is that he never fails to have fun - his entertaining lectures, which are peppered with aha moments, are full of mischief in every bit and byte. He is a trained IT specialist and developed IT solutions in the enterprise business sector for a US company before spending many years developing IT security solutions and working as a consultant at T-Systems. He is a certified trainer for IT specialists and has been conducting examinations for this profession for the Chamber of Commerce in Munich for over two decades. After graduating from high school and completing his civilian service, Tobias began studying economics at the LMU Munich, which he quickly dropped out of. Instead of becoming an accountant, he preferred to network the University's PC lab. Tobias became known to a large audience through the RTL programme "stern TV", where he has been explaining the latest cyber security topics since 2011. He writes a weekly column and has published five books. "Hacking for Managers" won the "getAbstract award" for "Best Business Book 2011" and "It's a Nerd's World" received the EMYS Youth Non-Fiction Award in August 2019.
