IronTree (formerly Metrofile Cloud) is a South African cloud services provider offering secure, locally hosted solutions for businesses of every size – including cloud backup, VPS and Virtual Private Cloud hosting, Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and a full range of cybersecurity tools.

We've been doing this since 2006. IronTree is the name our clients and partners have trusted from the start, and we're proud to be back under it. We're ISO 27001 certified as of May 2026 – independently verified proof that our approach to security and data protection holds up to international standards.

We work with businesses of every size, but small and mid-sized businesses are our core focus. SMBs face the same threats as large enterprises – ransomware, downtime, data loss – but rarely have the budget or in-house expertise to match an enterprise security stack. We built IronTree to close that gap: enterprise-grade protection, sized and priced for businesses that don't have an enterprise budget.
