Twenty 57 is pleased to announce that Purple Group has adopted the Linx low-code platform. Purple Group will leverage the platform to build internal applications that will improve efficiencies across its solutions, including GT247.com, Emperor Asset Management and EasyEquities.
With Linx, Purple Group is building APIs that securely unlock access to core banking and financial products to enable collaboration with partners, accelerate innovation and open new revenue channels.
“Purple Group is using Linx to drive incredible innovation in the new era of API-led connectivity,” said Paul Jansen Van Vuuren, group CTO. “With Linx, Purple Group has been able to prioritise operational efficiencies across their internal systems to deliver new and consistent experiences for our internal customer.” Purple Group chose Linx, and its low-code approach to connectivity and integration could solve many of the revolving requirements of a growing business. “Linx has been able to reduce our development time and has provided a platform for a series of best-practices for solving certain types of problems, expanding the capabilities of junior and even non-developers to solve problems.”
Before Linx, Purple Group needed a means to rapidly prototype and implement operational services. These were subject to continual change, often resulting in rewriting code each time the requirements changed. By building integrations and APIs with Linx, Purple Group has been able to unlock its backend systems and connect them with trusted third parties to drive speed, agility and innovation at a pace far greater than that associated with a small IT team.
Jansen van Vuuren continues: “With the combination of low-code tooling, coupled with the power of our platform APIs, we can deliver much more rapidly than ever before, and have the ability to pivot on functionality if the need arises without the usual expenditure that comes with it.”
