Obscure Technologies has expanded its cyber security portfolio with ForeScout Technologies. Obscure Technologies will now sell ForeScout's technology through its extensive network of channel partners to customers in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Indian Ocean Island countries.
"With the Internet of things (IOT) and employees bringing their own devices (BYOD), the attack surface is continuing to expand, putting organisations at risk if they lack proper device visibility," said Francois van Hirtum, chief technology officer, Obscure Technologies.
"Through its market-leading agentless technology, ForeScout enables complete visibility and control of network-connected devices and seamless integration with other security solutions we offer, making them a critical part of Obscure's security portfolio."
ForeScout provides enterprises and government agencies with the ability to see traditional and non-traditional devices the instant they connect to a network, control device access based on security posture and policy, and orchestrate system-wide response.
"We are seeing a surge of connected devices in enterprises; supporting that, visibility is foundational to any security strategy," said Hamed Diab, regional director, ForeScout Technologies. "You cannot secure what you cannot see and we are thrilled to partner with Obscure to deliver a security solution that helps to keep threats out."
