Further to the release of the new ITIL Managing Professional Transition certification, Pink Elephant South Africa is excited to be the first to announce course dates for the industry’s first ITIL 4 advanced courses for the Managing Professional stream.
The ITIL 4 Specialist – Create, Deliver & Support, ITIL 4 Specialist – Drive Stakeholder Value, ITIL 4 Specialist – High Velocity IT and ITIL 4 Strategist – Direct, Plan, and Improve certification courses are available from the first week of December 2019.
Each ITIL 4 advanced course stands on its own and can be taken in isolation as they apply to a specific role or an organisational priority, or as part of the progression towards the new designations: ITIL Managing Professional (MP), and ITIL Strategic Leader (SL).These two designations, MP and SL, replace ITIL v3’s ITIL Expert.
As opposed to the ITIL v3 schema where there was a requirement to achieve 17 credits and then undertake the Managing across the Life Cycle (MALC) certification course for ITIL Expert designation, the new ITIL courses are mandatory in order to achieve the Managing Professional or Strategic Leader designation with the ITIL 4 Strategist: Direct, Plan & Improve (DPI) certification course common to both designations. ITIL 4 Foundation remains a prerequisite certification.
Pink Elephant, as the leader in IT management, remains committed to bringing the new certification to the local market in order to serve the ever-increasing demand for the next level detail of the ITIL 4 framework.
The first delivery of this new certification course will be a public, instructor-led class at Pink Elephant South Africa in Johannesburg, 2-4 December 2019, followed by the release of the self-paced online option.
