SIS Global was founded in the early 1990’s by an entrepreneurial businessmen with a passion for technology and an aptitude to see and understand more than just the problem at hand. Based in the United Kingdom and Russia, the SIS Global journey began in Group Consolidation Systems, such as PlusPlan and Climb; Electronic Information Systems (EIS), which at the time were forerunners to today’s Business Intelligence (BI), Content Management and Dashboarding Solutions; and Financial Reporting and Report Writing Solutions, such as Proclarity, Walker and Analyst Financials.

The team’s practical approach and business expertise as well as their hard work and dedication resulted in early success for SIS Global – winning projects with prominent listed companies such as Lombard NatWest PLC, who were at the time the largest leasing company in the world, Bullough PLC and The Property Services Agency in the United Kingdom, where we were part of the privatisation process, while also implementing Group Consolidation and Management Reporting Solutions.

Our transition into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) space was a logical and seamless development, facilitated by our first major win in that arena when SIS Global were awarded the Project Management role for Tetra Pak’s ERP project in Moscow, using Scala, which was one of the original Windows based ERP solutions. Following our success at Tetra Pak we soon built up a repertoire of successful ERP projects using technologies such as Scala, Oracle and Epicore, for the likes of Coca Cola, Pepsi, Volvo, Ericsson and Alpha Laval, in countries spanning the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe and Africa.

While building on our foundation of expertise, we continued to widen our areas of influence to enterprise wide business solutions and gained invaluable experience, which today sets us apart from our competitors. Our early years of working on intense projects shaped who we are today and how we approach our projects. Our experience working in countries where the language and culture are foreign and in which the surroundings are difficult have given us an edge, unmatched in the market, as are our abilities to successfully handle large amounts of process re-engineering and huge degrees of change management.

In early 2004, SIS Global slowly began to move across to Navision, and what was later to become Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Our first win using this technology was with Black Like Me and 2 years later we sold our first Microsoft Dynamics AX solution to Adcorp Holdings Limited. Since then we have won numerous projects in the Microsoft Dynamics space and due to our success are now considered one of the leading Microsoft Partners in Africa.
