Currently I am helping clients to understand and confront risk by leveraging class-leading solutions and managed services. The future of cyber is being written right now. New risks, technologies, and business choices are taking shape. I find that how organisations prepare themselves and act on these, defines their cyber maturity (as well as, in some cases, the future of their business). At Cassava, we see to this for our clients, from giving advice and implementing intelligent technology solutions, to taking care of the operations daily. We do this in more than one way - we provide innovative solutions over 110,000km of fibre network through 5 Cyber Security Fusion Centres, 5 Data Centres and over 100,000 POS terminals deployed. We’ve built the internet infrastructure that underpins Africa’s digital economy and are now delivering digital solutions, empowering individuals and businesses to realise the opportunities of a digitally connected future. We see that the link between cyber security and business value is growing stronger—with cyber becoming increasingly integral to enabling tech-driven programs and driving business outcomes. I joined the Group in 2025 and has over 25 years of experience in stakeholder relationship building, alliances, account management, risk and cyber. I learn about new challenges and risks from clients, every day. I have led engagements that dealt from access governance, advisory services, implementing controls to managed services and renewing license entitlements. Prior to joining, I held a Senior Manager position at Deloitte Cyber for 6 years and various other Client Engagement and Partner Alliance Management positions. I also lectured Financial Accounting at the University of Pretoria and Marketing at the Tshwane University of Technology and was an examiner for UNISA for over eleven years.
